About this object
The skull motif has recurred throughout my work stemming from my investigations into Buddhist imagery.
For me it is a reminder of the impermanence of life, but also a beautiful contrast to life’s sweetness and its cyclical nature.
Deco skull has to do with the rebirth and flourishing of ancient forms of knowledge, the skull sits on a heavy tome.
