The iconic smiling face of Luna Park has been a Sydney Harbour fixture since the fun park opened in 1935. In the 1970s Peter Kingston , Martin Sharp, Richard Liney and Garry Shead were amongst a team of artists commissioned to transform the amusement park, restoring its nostalgic art deco styling and playful charm.
