Richard Lewer is a New Zealand born, Melbourne based artist who works across different media including painting, drawing, animation, installation and printmaking. This lithograph is particularly influenced by the sport of boxing which has become an integral part of Lewer's personal life and features often in his artistic practice.
Richard Lewer has been a finalist in the Archibald Prize twice, most recently in the 2021 Archibald Prize on exhibition at MRAG in 2022.
